High Speed Training

The program consists of five components designed to develop the athlete’s dynamic sprint speed, running mechanics, functional mobility, strength, recovery time, and confidence. Athletes are pushed, quite literally, to their limit. Any athlete, of any skill level, who completes this eight-week program will show dramatic improvement. Treadmill Models Available:
With speed ranges from 0.5 mph up to 31 mph, top-end elevation ranges from 15% to 40%, and options for either 110v or 220v power requirements, there is a Noramco Fitness and Performance treadmill model to fill every need. The Gerkin Testing Protocol, used by firefighters nationwide, is included in the HRT models, and the WFI Testing Protocol is available for any HRT model on request. Have a special need? Call us. Special Features:

• Up to 31 MPH speed with maximum 40% incline. Starts at 0.3 mph for rehabilitation.
• 600 LB user capacity, using 5” x 6” x ¼” welded structural steel construction.
• No maintenance reversible deck and belt system. Running area 26” x 70” Deck never needs lubrication.
• Running belt guides keep the belt centered automatically.

Spotting Rack Features:

• Free-standing control panel attached to 10-foot cord provides mobility for the trainer to work on the side.
• Front mounted handrail can be moved out of the way for free arm movement and for running-form checks in the mirror.
• Safety Harness System provides a “spotting station” against trips or falls, yet is so comfortable and lightweight it is almost unnoticed by the user.  One large harness is included.
• The un-weighting (10 lb to 120 lb) and spotting safety system moves on 8 large caster wheels alongside the tread so as not to alter the gait of the athlete. Rolls away when not in use.
